Today I am going to share with you a very cool trick which I've done many times with different clients, those who would like to use multiple header images for their blogs.
This is not a difficult task to do nor does it need a guru to get it done, all you need is to get the images you want ready (with the same size as the header of course) and name the files as follows: anyname_1.jpg, anyname_2.jpg, anyname_3.jpg and so on! The first part of the file name is flexible, you can change it, but you have to make sure to separate the numbers of the images with an underscore and use sequenced numbers. read more »

As some of you may know, I am a heavy, loyal iPhone user who tries to do almost everything from my phone! I’d like to share with you 11 Apps that make my life that much easier and which I use on a daily basis.
1- Twitterific: It's my favorite Twitter App for iPhone's and I really wish there was a desktop version of it.
2- Notes: it's the notepad on the iPhone where I just save my shopping list, notes about any article that just pops into mind, titles of articles that I want to write about or any other thing.
3- LinkedIn: The new version of the LinkedIn application is just amazing, user friendly and makes LinkedIn really easy to use and more beneficial.

You might think I am crazy but yes, social media could kill your business or at least make you lose some opportunities. Social media is exactly the same as any other technology a business uses. If it is mis-used; it can backfire. I have to agree on the amazing effect and feedback that social media can create for any business, but also a lot of businesses have faced big failures using social media and they can only blame themselves!
Here are my social media sins, and let me know if I’ve missed any:
1- Not to have a social media presence
We are now in 2010 and it is a must to have a presence in the sphere of social media and interact with your fans, customers and clients. Dell have already reported $2 Million in sales purely generated from Twitter in 2008! read more »

When Wordpress 2.9.1 was released last week, I had to upgrade it on various blogs that I own or manage and one of them was my wife's fresh blog; AyoSays (http://www.ayosays.com). I always choose to go with automatic upgrade since its faster, much easier and safer! But unfortunately, in my case it wasn't fast or easy or safe, at all! A very disappointing thing happened after I was shown a message on my admin panel that the upgrade had failed. The front-end had crashed but thank God my admin panel was working and I could export the articles, comments and pages.

The world's number one blogging platform has released its latest version 2.9, known as “Carmen” and named in honor of vocalist Carmen McRae. Upgrading to the latest version of Wordpress is very easy and can be done by clicking on “Upgrade” under “Tools” section or by downloading a new fresh package from Wordpress.org

As some of you may have noticed, I am an Ubuntu user and I am very loyal and in love with it. I only use Windows machines when I need to get graphic jobs done on either Illustrator or Photoshop. When Google launched Chrome for Windows based machines, I gave it a go and really liked how fast and light it was at the same time. Since then, I submitted my email in Google's notification list for when a Linux compatible version becomes available.
Yesterday I received an e-mail from Google informing me that a Beta version of chrome that is Linux compatible is available for download. I directly downloaded the package and installed it. Simply, I just love it and guess what, now Chrome supports extensions! When I tried it on Windows there weren't any extensions, but a couple of JavaScript hacks.
