Cool T Shirts for Bloggers

Like most bloggers, I’m always on the look out for additional income streams. The more we can create, the safer we become – if any single stream fails, the others remain to prop up our earnings.

With that in mind I set up an account with Zazzle a few months ago, and began offering T-shirts, mugs and calendars to the readers on our travel blog. There’s a double benefit:

1/ You can kit yourself out with your branded clothing, drink from your branded mugs, and get friends and family to do the same. They’re also great thank you gifts for people you interview or who are helpful in any way.

2/ You can earn some income, as Zazzle pay a royalty on everything of your design that they sell.

As with most things related to blogging, you won’t get rich by selling T shirts from your blog, but you can earn a reasonable, steady income from it. Every now and then a big order will come through, like the one we had last week, which was for well over $500, but that is the exception.

It’s very simple to work – visit Zazzle’s site, and you can upload your own logo and design, and set up a huge range of products for sale in your very own Zazzle shop. Here’s a link to our Zazzle shop, so you can see what it looks like.

All the set up is free – and Zazzle does all the printing on demand, then takes payment, ships the goods and pays you your royalties.
