How to Bootstrap a Business

You probably already know that Nathan started his online business while on deployment in Afghanistan - it's one of many things I admire about him.

boot

Bootstrapping is one of those American phrases you hear all the time online. Wikipedia describes it as "A self sustaining process that proceeds without external help." In other words, and relating it to a business start up, it means doing it yourself and not investing lots of money to do so. It's how 95% of bloggers start their businesses.

Nathan has teamed up with Susan Baker to produce something called The Bootstrap Sessions - two live one hour with Q and A online sessions, where they will cover how to turn your ideas into a real business, deal with your fear of getting started and build a business fund from scratch. They will share practical examples of things they have done in the past that helped get them where they are today.

The two sessions are a couple of days apart next week, and they're charging $47 for one person, or $75 if you bring a friend. You can enrol right now here: Home Page

Happy Hour

If you're not sure these sessions are for you, then you should join their virtual happy hour. This Friday they're hosting an hour long session which is completely free of charge! They'll even send you the recipe for "The Bootstrap" cocktail, so you can enjoy a drink while you listen in. They'll give you a lot more information about The Bootstrap Sessions, and let you know in more detail what they will be covering.

You can join them, free, through this link: Happy Hour
