Here are this weeks special posts from my fellow bloggers:
Calling all entrepreneurs – introducing pitch TV
by Richard Branson on richardbranson
Yet another wonderful idea from the Virgin man. He’s giving entrepreneurs a chance to have a quick “elevator” pitch shown to Virgin travellers via Virgin TV. Several have already succeeded, so check the site for them.
How to cut through the noise? Everyone is using social media…..
by Gary Vaynerchuk on garyvaynerchuk
Typically energetic and slightly manic video post from Gary, but as always making a very good point, very forcefully.
GM gets out of neutral and gets confident
by Chris Brogan on chrisbrogan
Great series about GM’s revival from Chris. He’s no petrolhead, but that makes the whole thing even better.
by Seth Godin on sethsblog
I can’t seem to keep the man off these POW posts, but his stuff is so damn good! This one compares being a social media rock star with being the supporting act.
Seven productivity tips for people that hate GTD
by Jonathan Mead on zenhabits
I have to admit I’m not a huge fan of Zen Habits (I know many are) – for me it’s a little dry and preachy. But this is a good post, full of practical ways to get going when procrastination seems a better option.
by Christine Morris on mynonlinear
Amazing short video – just watch it, and watch it now!
by Jeremy Schoemaker on shoemoney
Love him or hate him, every now and then “The Shoe” comes up with a gem, and this is one of those.
That’s all for this week. Should I be reading your blog and should it be appearing in this list? If so please leave a comment and I’ll add your feed to read every post.

Good list! "Blog or news site" was filtered into mine as well.

Hey Mike, I don't know how
Hey Mike,
I don't know how you continually give back to the community, it really is amazing. You are so focused and generous, to think it really hasn't even been that long since you started and you are a total pro! Keep up the good work and I hope you realise what an asset you are to the Internet!
Thank you so much
Thanks Christine - it means a lot to receive a compliment like that. I hope I can continue to give because strangely enough, the more I give, the more I seem to get back.

Great Job Mike
I like this idea. Good job Mike !!

Hi Mike, I found your site
Hi Mike,
I found your site on Darren Rouse's site on linking to other posts with your link to this one (am I making sense?). :) I'm still pretty new to blogging, or at least, understanding the importance of it, so I appreciate your advice. In most cases, I find other people's comments to a post just as informative as the post itself!
Thanks.
Happy Easter!
Erin
Hi Erin It does make sense!
Hi Erin
It does make sense! And I agree. Good to see you here and I look forward to reading your stuff. BUT, I can't access your site at the moment. Can you check the URL you left? Or maybe let me have it again?

Didn't know Richard has a blog
Hi Mike,
Just stumbled over from Darren and I see immediately the value you add with this post. I didn't know that Richard Branson has a blog. You see, when Richard Branson talks, I'm listening. I like his screw-it-let's-do-it-approach and find his books very motivating.
See you around during the challenge!
Have nice Eastern weekend or whatever you like to celebrate.
Mario
Thanks for coming over
Thanks for coming over Mario. Agree about Branson - and he writes a lot of the content himself as well.

Just another blogger
I'm just another blogger trying to figure out how it all works while enjoying writing. I appreciate any hints or advice. You seem like a generous guy who knows a few things.
Visit me if you have the time - I love to meet folks with kids and to chat about nature, gardening, cooking and learning. Do you like any of those? Actually, that's a stupid question. I guess you love marine creatures or you'd not love scuba diving! And you obviously love learning. I grew up loving marine life, in Scotland, and I love nothing better than visiting the ocean/sea. Now I'm in Kansas, which couldn't be further from the ocean; I content myself with waves of grasses instead :-)
I'll check out what Richard Branson is offering on elevator pitches.
I'm at http://homeschoolersguidetothegalaxy.blogspot.com/ which is not really about homeschooling, it's more about Life, The Universe, and Everything.
Alison Kerr's last blog post... 5 Tools for Planting a Vegetable Garden
Never "just" another blogger
I enjoyed the vegetable garden post Alison. I'm a pretty handy cook and also have vegetables in the garden. Sadly I'm a better cook than a gardener, so I do struggle!

Life-long learner
Mike, When it comes to gardening, I'm a life-long learner. Come to think of it, I'm a life-long learner in most things.
Have you got a favorite, easy, kid-friendly recipe Mike? I'm open to guest posts on cooking, gardening, nature, and fun things on any of those topics for doing with kids.
I'm curious now about what you grow in your garden and what is challenging for you. Do drop by and let me know because I like to find answers for folks :-)
I subscribed to your feed too.
Rock stars
Hi Mike,
I liked the article you linked to on Seth's blog. I love watching my readership grow, but on the other hand I get squeamish when blogging, Twitter, etc., start to feel like a popularity contest. Not everyone needs or wants to be a social media rock star! What I like about Seth's article is that his recommendations are sound for everyone--for the niche blogger who doesn't want to emphasize growth, and for the rock star wannabe. (Me, I'm somewhere in between.)
