Have you ever considered the market potential of selling your products in other languages?

I live in Spain, so it's always been in my mind to look at the opportunity to sell my products in Spanish. Let's do that now.

Search term - "How to use Twitter"

If I search on that term in English on Google, there are no less than 818 Million pages that come up! To sell my Beginner's Guide to Twitter, I have a heck of a lot of competition. And yet when I do the same search in Spanish, only 17 million pages appear.

So there are 48 times as many pages in English as there are in Spanish.

But how often are people searching in the second language? Google tools tells me that there are 40,500 searches on the term in English each month, and in Spanish, there are 14,800.

Think about that for a moment.

There are less than 3 times the number of searches in English and fully 48 times the number competitive sites. That's astonishing!

Getting your product translated

I speak Spanish, and can write it. But there's nothing worse than reading something written by a non-native speaker. So, for me, the next step is to get my book translated. And that's always been expensive, until now.

One of our former Beyond Blogging Project students has come up with exactly the service we need.
